The talk was attended by 75 audiences, which constituted mainly young UK-based Nepali girls. At the event, Shrestha talked about the status of Nepali women and the challenges they have been facing historically.


The program further included a panel discussion from the members of London Nepali Community, Rukmani Manandhar, Menka Shrestha, Pratima Joshi, and Luxmi Rai. They shared their experiences and stories that highlighted the adverse situations of Nepali women followed by the solutions of it. Likewise, the president of PPGUK London, Sanyukta Shrestha also shared how the organization has been working with an aim to promote progressive society by changing the social stereotype.
