Women held with fake notes sent to Kathmandu

BHADRAPUR, Jhapa, Nov 25: The Jhapa District Police Office said the women arrested along with fake Indian currency notes at the Chandragadhi Airport of the district was sent to Kathmandu by plane or further investigation on Wednesday.



According to Police Sub-Inspector Rabindra Sharma, the office decided to send the accused to Kathmandu as only the Revenue Investigation Department has the authority to investigate the case.



Marini and Mamuni from Shillong of India were held along with fake notes of 500 and 1,000 denominations worth INR 1,950,000 from the airport during the check on Tuesday.
