KATHMANDU, July 24: Women entrepreneurs have called on the government to incorporate practical skills into the education system. They believe that equipping students with various skills from a young age could reduce the number of citizens seeking job opportunities abroad.
On Tuesday, office bearers of the Federation of Women Entrepreneurs’ Associations of Nepal (FWEAN), led by President Shobha Gyawali, held a meeting with the newly-appointed Minister of Education, Bidhya Bhattarai. They advocated for the inclusion of skill-oriented education starting from the school level.
