LAHAN, Aug 30: An elderly woman died of the novel coronavirus disease on Saturday night.
A 60-year old woman from Rajbiraj Municipality-2 died of COVID-19 while being taken to Koshi Hospital for further treatment after her treatment was not possible at Gajendra Narayan Singh Sagarmatha Hospital.

After experiencing breathing difficulties and high fever, the deceased woman was admitted at Gajendra Narayan Singh Sagarmatha Hospital on Friday.
The deceased had tested positive for the COVID-19 on Saturday. Her dead body was buried by a team of the Nepal Army on the same day.
So far, six individuals have succumbed to COVID-19 in Saptari district alone.
