LAHAN, July 12: Sujita Thakur, 26, of Loharpatti Municipality-7 who was missing for the past 38 days was found inside a toilet tank on Sunday.
Sujita, who was missing from June 2, was found buried inside an under- construction toilet tank packed in a Jute sack.
Sujita’s family had lodged a complaint with the police claiming that Sujita had first disappeared and then was murdered by their in-laws’ family.

After complaint, a joint search operation was conducted by the District Police of Mahottari, Federal Area Police Office at Janakpurdham and Provincial Police Office.
The police had to smash almost five feet of concrete structure after learning that the body was buried inside a toilet tank, according to SP Dinesh Acharya of District Police Office, Mohhattari.
Family members had identified the body from clothes and her physique.
Earlier, police had recovered some body parts and hairs of Sujita on June 27 from a field. Later, the accused had informed the police that her body was buried inside a toilet tank.
Sujita’s family filed a complaint with police accusing her brother-in-law Rupesh Thakur, sister-in-law Rama Thakur, father-in-law Patiram Thakur.
