KALIKOT, March 1: A woman has been buried to death in the district. According to police, Sita Pandey, 23, of Manma-8 was buried to death while she was digging clay for her house.
Seven people including Pandey were buried after a mound of earth above them caved in while digging the clay in Manma-9.

A police squad deployed from the District Police Office, Kalikot had rescued the victims and took them to the District Hospital, Manma for treatment.
Pandey breathed her last in the course of treatment.
