Woman kills two daughters before killing self

DHANGADHI: Failing to arrange money for the treatment of her husband and daughter, a woman killed two minor daughters before killing herself on Saturday in a forest in Joshipur of Kailali. Laxmi Chaudhari, 35, was staying in Joshipur-3 Banjariya for over a month for the treatment of her mentally ill husband and daughter.



Laxmi poisoned her two daughters on Sunday before hanging herself to death near Khairani forest nearby the village after failing to arrange money for their treatment, according to locals. According to inspector at Kailali District Police Office Sudama Rawal, Laxmi, originally from Janakinagar VDC-5, had killed two of her daughters-11 years old Bishnu and 5 years old Bindu -- giving them grapes laced with poison. Bishu was suffering from polio.
