Woman dies in bus-hit

Lekhnath, September 16: A woman died after being hit by a microbus ( Gha 1 Kha 6830) in Lekhnath, Pokhara on Wednesday evening. The victim has been identified as Devkala Banjara, 78, from Mohoriya, Pokhara-31.

According to the District Police Office, Kaski, she was walking when the microbus hit her.  Injured Banjara was then taken to the Western Regional Hospital, Pokhara. She died in the hospital while she was being treated. Police have taken the bus driver under control and impounded the vehicle.
