BHAKTAPUR, Oct 9: Ram Mandal, 16, who was working in a motorcycle workshop at Narephant-16, Kathmandu has died in a motorcycle accident near Shrijananagar of Bhaktapur on Arani Highway on Thursday night. Mandal died when the motorcycle (Ba 02-017 Pa 1012) lost its control and collided with the divider on the road.

According to the Metropolitan Police Circle, Bhaktapur, the victim died on the way to the Madhyapur Hospital, Thimi Bhaktapur. Similarly, Rajan Tamang, 18, of Narephant-32, who was riding on the back was treated at the Apex Polyclinic and Diagnostics Center in Jadibuti and was discharged later.

The accident took place due to high speed according to the police.  Further investigation into the incident is underway.
