BAGLUNG, Sept 17:Thirty five year Babiran Khatun was killed after a falling boulder crushed her while she was crossing the landslide at Turture of Bhimgithe of Badigad rural municipality-7, according to Inspector Bhupindra Khadka, District Police Office, Baglung.
"Khatun was rescued and rushed to Burtibang Primary Health Center. However, she was pronounced dead," Khadka said. Khatun's husband, who was slightly ahead of her was safe.

Khatun had been running a shop in Burtibang bazaar. The artificial lake that was formed by a landslide is yet to find its outlet. "We'll know how to manage this landslide after a technical team will come from the center and assess the situation," Bed Prasad Kharel, chief district officer said.
