SAPTARI, July 21: A large quantity of marijuana was seized from the house of Ramkewal Mandal in Nargho, Rajgadh Rural Municipality–3, Saptari.
A joint team from the Armed Police Force and the Area Police Office, Kalyanpur, confiscated 388 kilograms and 730 grams of marijuana hidden in Mandal’s house.

During the search, police found two sacks of marijuana in an under-construction toilet, one sack in a cowshed, and nine sacks in a nearby bamboo grove.
The District Police Office, Saptari, said that 41-year-old Rekha Kumari Mandal has been taken into custody for further investigation.
