KATHMANDU, June 12: Nepal’s coronavirus casetally has reached 626,535 including 3,384 new cases confirmed in the past 24 hours as of Saturday afternoon. 

Of the total cases confirmed so far in Nepal, 606,778 were detected through the 3,207,208 RT-PCR tests and 19,757 others through the 102,940 antigen tests, said the health ministry. 

Meanwhile, 6,295 more patients recovered from the disease on Saturday taking the country's recovery rate to 86.9 percent. 

The health ministry also shared that 8,366 patients have died of the fatal disease so far including 61 reported to have died in the past 24 hours. Nepal’s COVID-19 fatality rate stands at 1.6 percent.
