The accused 24- year old Hom Bahadur BK of Arkhala-9 on Thursday sliced his 21-year old wife, using sharp weapon into two pieces.
A squad of police jointly deployed from Area police Office, Kawasoti and Rudrapur following a tip-off nabbed BK, said DSP Som Thapa, and went on adding that BK had confessed the crime.
The preliminary investigation by the police suggests that BK had killed his wife due to minor spat in the family, said Thapa.
