Week-long lockdown in Banke from midnight Monday

NEPALGUNJ, April 26: District Administration Office (DAO), Banke has decided to enforce a week-long lockdown in the district starting Monday midnight.

NEPALGUNJ, April 26: District Administration Office (DAO), Banke has decided to enforce a week-long lockdown in the district starting Monday midnight.


During this period, all the activities except emergency services will remain closed in the district. The movement of people and vehicles has been restricted during the lockdown period, according to the Chief District Officer, Shiva Ram Gelal.

Only the vehicles that have secured passes from the local administration will be allowed to operate for supplies of daily essentials and other activities. The market will be allowed to open from 6 am to 9 am to buy daily essentials.
