Weather to remain generally clear today

KATHMANDU Oct 22: The weather will remain clear in the remaining areas, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology. On the other hand, it will be partially cloudy in the hilly region of the country.

Despite the partial impact of the westerly wind in Nepal, the weather will remain generally clear. It will be partly cloudy in the hilly areas and fair in the rest of the regions, said senior meteorologist Pratibha Manandhar. 

Light rain is predicted at one or two places in the hilly region of Sudurpaschim, Karnali and Gandaki provinces. Light snowfall is likely in high hilly and mountainous areas of Sudurpaschim, Karnali and Gandaki provinces, she said.
