KATHMANDU, April 5: The weather is anticipated to be partly to mostly cloudy across the country today. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there is currently an influence of westerly winds and local winds in Nepal.

According to the MFD, it will be partly to mostly cloudy across the country this afternoon. There is a possibility of light rain with thunder/lightning at a few places in the hilly areas of Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and at one or two places in the rest of the hilly areas.

There is a likelihood of light snowfall at a few places in the high hills and mountainous areas of Gandaki and Karnali provinces and at one or two places in the rest of the high hilly and mountainous areas.

The MFD predicts that partly to mostly cloudy weather conditions will prevail over the country tonight, and there is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning at a few places in the hilly areas of Gandaki and Karnali provinces and one or two places in the rest of the hilly areas. There is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of the country.
