KATHMANDU, Feb 18: The Meteorological Forecasting Division has reported a partial influence of westerly winds in Nepal, shaping today’s weather conditions.

The forecast indicated partly cloudy to mostly clear skies in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.

Throughout this afternoon, the weather is expected to remain mostly clear in the hilly areas, encompassing Sudurpaschim and Karnali provinces, while other provinces may experience partial cloud cover.

Additionally, there’s a likelihood of light snowfall in isolated areas in the high hills and mountain regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, with one or two places in the remaining high hills and mountain locales.

As night falls, the cloud cover is expected to prevail in the hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

The rest of the hilly areas will experience partial cloudiness, while the remaining areas will remain clear.

Similarly, there’s a possibility of light snowfall at a few places in the high hills and mountain regions of the Sudurpaschim and Karnali provinces, and in one or two locations in the remaining high hills and the mountain regions.
