KATHMANDU, June 10: Western and local winds are currently affecting the western and central parts of the country. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM) reports that most parts of Koshi Province are under the influence of monsoon winds.
According to the DHM, this afternoon, the hill regions of Koshi and Lumbini provinces, as well as some other parts of the country, will experience partly to mostly cloudy skies, while the remaining areas will have clear to partly cloudy weather. These provinces and some hill areas may also see light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning.

The DHM also forecasts light rain and snowfall in one or two places in the country's high hill and mountainous regions.
Similarly, tonight, Koshi, Lumbini, and Gandaki provinces, along with the hill regions, will experience partly to mostly cloudy skies while the rest of the country will have clear to partly cloudy weather. The DHM also predicts light rain and snowfall in one or two places in the high hills and mountainous areas of Karnali Province.
