We feel orphaned by Karmacharya's death: Dahal

KATHMANDU, July 24: Chairman of the Unified CPN (Maoist), Pushpa Kamal Dahal, has said the death of one of the founding member of the Communist Party of Nepal, Nar Bahadur Karmacharya, made them (communists) feel orphaned. [break]



"Karmacharya was the guardian of all communist parties in Nepal and that his death has made all communists feel orphaned," Chairman Dahal said.



Talking briefly to journalists at UCPN (Maoist) Headquarters, at Paris Danda, in the Capital, Dahal further said Nepali people, all communist leaders and cadres were in deep shock from his death.



Similarly, senior leader of the CPN (UML), Madhav Kumar Nepal, said all communist parties were shocked from the death of Karmacharya and that there was no alternative to unity among all communists to make his dream come true.
