KATHMANDU, Nov 30: The election for the various posts of the central committee of the main opposition CPN-UML has concluded at the party’s 10 General Convention currently underway in Chitwan. Voting started only at 4AM on Tuesday, seven hours later than the schedule.
The representatives of CPN-UML stayed awake all night to cast their votes in the closed session. The votes will be counted at 12PM and the results will be published around 2PM, according to Dr Bijay Subba, a UML leader.

Votes were cast for the post of CPN-UML chair before holding the polls for other posts of the party. Bhim Rawal and KP Sharma Oli are the candidates for the party's chairmanship.
