KATHMANDU, August 21: The voting on the Bill relating to the second amendment to the Constitution of Nepal, 2073, is underway at the Legislature Parliament in New Baneshwar on Monday evening.
The amendment bill will be -endorsed only when the two-thirds majority of the lawmakers in the parliament vote in favor of the Bill.
Since the opposition parties including CPN-UML, Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) are against the Bill, it is unlikely that the Bill will be endorsed today.
Deliberations took place on the constitution bill amendment at parliament before the voting.
As many as 51 lawmakers expressed their views on the proposed Bill on Monday.
