All passengers reported to be safe
KATHMANDU, Aug 25: A vehicle carrying 10 passengers fell off a cliff in Dhankuta on Sunday while it was undergoing repair. Miraculously, none of the passengers sustained major injuries even though the parked vehicle overturned and fell 90 meters down the cliff.

According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Shyam Singh Chaudhary of the District Police Office, Dhankuta, the Bolero vehicle with registration number Ko 1 Ja 2137 had encountered brake problem and was undergoing repair at Phoklen Tapu in Ward No-6 of Dhankuta Municipality when the incident took place.
There were 10 people, including the driver, in the vehicle which was traveling from Umling in Sankhuwasabha to Itahari. SP Chaudhary reported that two children traveling in the vehicle sustained minor injuries and have returned home after treatment at the district hospital.
