Upendra as PM not discussed in UCPN(M): Baidya

KATHMANDU, May 16: While the rumor that the Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) has supported MPRF Chairman Upendra Yadav for heading the next government is growing louder, Maoist senior leader Mohan Baidya said the Maoist party chairman hasn´t discussed the issue in the party.



“I have no knowledge about the party supporting Upendra to head the government. The party chairman hasn´t discussed this issue in the party,” said Baidya, who leads the hardliners in the party.



He, however, said the party has delegated authority to Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal to settle the current political crisis.
