NEW DELHI, April 15: Google, reportedly, has started rolling out the Android 5.1 Lollipop update to its over two-year-old Nexus 4. The over-the-air update measures 174.5MB and is being rolled out to users in a phased manner. The update, apparently, has not reached users here in India yet.
While Google claims improved performance with the Android 5.1 Lollipop update, several Nexus 5 users who have already got the update are reporting of camera crash issues. The issue is said to be not limited to only native app, it occurs even if the camera is accessed using a third-party app.According to Google, Android 5.1 update "improves stability and performance and offers a few new features like support for multiple SIM cards, Device Protection and high definition (HD) voice on compatible phones."
Android 5.1 Lollipop also provides enhancements such as the ability to join WiFi networks and control of your paired Bluetooth devices directly from Quick Settings.
