Uniglobe Int’l Management Conference to kick off today

KATHMANDU: Uniglobe College, affiliated to Pokhara University, is all set to organize a two-day program called Uniglobe International Management ConferenceV on Recent Advances in Management: Challenges, Initiatives and Road Ahead (UIMC- RAM-2018) from Tuesday.

KATHMANDU: Uniglobe College, affiliated to Pokhara University, is all set to organize a two-day program called Uniglobe International Management ConferenceV on Recent Advances in Management: Challenges, Initiatives and Road Ahead (UIMC- RAM-2018) from Tuesday. 


According to the press statement released by Uniglobe College, Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Dr Chiranjibi Nepal will inaugurate the event as the chief guest. Similarly, Dr Rado Bohinc, Professor from Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, has been invited as the Keynote speaker in the program.

Also at the event, over 80 research papers will be presented on different issues of management, banking, marketing, finance, human resources from India, Bangladesh, Slovenia, Pakistan and Nepal, read the press statement.  


The press statement quoted Dr Nar Bahadur Bista, principal of Uniglobe College and Conference Secretary saying, “It is very important to share the research based knowledge regarding management and learn from it because of the dynamic and quickly changing business environment around the world. Once we are not updated then we remain in a gap. Our major aim is to bring new knowledge, innovation and creations those are happening in the world to the management students and the scholars. We are also very excited to have the panel discussion on Nepal’s economic relation with major neighbors with the ex-ambassadors from India, USA and China.”


The conference is addressing six major themes -issues and challenges in modern banking, human resource management, organization behavior and CSR, marketing management issues and challenges, financial management issues and challenges, contemporary issues in management and Financial services management issues and challenges. 


More than 600 participants, including 30 foreign delegates are taking part in the conference. Uniglobe College publishes the research articles accepted for the conference in its four different journals. Under the guidance and supervision of Prof Dr Radhe Shyam Pradhan, academic director at Uniglobe, the college has proven itself as a research based and innovation driven academic institution in Nepal which has been organizing international conference every year and publishes four international research journals quarterly, read the statement.
