Unification bodes well for country’s future: PM Oli (photo feature)

KATHMANDU, May 17: Both the party chairpersons looked excited on the day of the party unification between the CPN-UML and CPN (Maoist Center).


Speaking at the 25th Madan-Ashrit Memorial Day organized at Balkhu, Maoist Center Chairman and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal stressed that the two parties should be unified today itself.

“Both the parties should be unified today itself,” said Dahal, adding, “It will be an honor to late leader Madan Bhandari for his political ideology.”


Following various stages of meetings, the new party will be registered today itself. A press conference will be organized at Rastriya Sabha Griha later in the day after party registration.


Addressing the gathering, Prime Minister and UML Chairman Oli said the registration of the newly formed party will bode well for the country’s future.


The unification of the parties will create environment conducive for the country’s development.
