Unidentified group vandalises election office in Bhaktapur

BHAKTAPUR, March 29: An unidentified group vandalized a computer and a photocopy machine of the District Election Office (DEO), Bhaktapur, on Friday morning.



The group comprising of four people wearing masks entered the office and tore down 68 voters´ list forms, said Chief of the Office, Churamani Panthi.



They had come to the office at 10:15 am this morning on the pretext of being photographed.



Two persons took the employees under control and the remaining persons tore down the forms after entering the room used by the office for the purpose of collecting voters´ lists with photographs, said Panthi.



Police reached the office after the incident.
