Unidentified group attacks FSFN candidate  in Saptari

SAPTARI, Dec 5: Unidentified group has attacked with knife to Federal Societal Forum Nepal (FSFN) candidate for the upcoming elections in Balaan Behul rural municipality on Monday night.

SAPTARI, Dec 5: Unidentified group has attacked with knife to Federal Societal Forum Nepal (FSFN) candidate for the upcoming elections in Balaan Behul rural municipality on Monday night.


Candidate for the Provincial Assembly in Saptari-4 (B), Shamud Ali was hurt with knife attack when he was returning from Kamaladha, door-to-door campaign.

Candidate Ali said, "Three people on two motorcycle hit me from backside, when my assistant shout for help then they went off."


According to police, Ali has sustained injury to his head and hand in the attack. Ali is under treatment in local hospital of Balaan Behul rural municipality,said police.


A search has been launched for the attackers, police said.
