Addressing a function in Sindhupalchowk, Rana said there is no alternative to conditional extension of the CA term as the last one year of its extension was futile. [break]
“An unconditional extension of the CA term will not be acceptable to us.” Rana said that the conclusion of the peace process and writing drafting must be guaranteed before extending the CA term.
Rana also claimed that bulk integration of the Maoist combatants into the security forces would invite disaster. He said the combatants should be integrated on an individual basis.
In a separate context, the RPP chairman said the Khanal-led coalition has completely failed to take the peace process and constitution drafting forward.
