KATHMANDU, Dec 6: Police have recovered unauthorized ten thousand US dollars from Royal casino at Hotel Yak and Yeti.

Metropolitan Police Circle (MPC), Durbarmarga recovered the amount during an inspection on  Monday night.

As per the casino regulations, cash transaction is prohibited within a casino.

According to DSP Krishan Bahadur Pallimagar, chief of MPC, Durbarmarg, the amount was recovered from casino employees.

“We have not detained anybody. We are preparing to send the recovered cash to Revenue Investigation Department for further action,” DSP Pallimagar told Republica Online.
