According to UML leaders, the Singh-led government has failed to meet public expectations and has not prioritized good governance and development. Following UML’s withdrawal, the Madhesh provincial government has fallen into a minority, giving opposition parties a chance to reshape the power equation.
Sources said UML has already begun discussions with the Nepali Congress, the CPN (Maoist Centre), and independent lawmakers to form a new government. Earlier, the NC had also withdrawn its support from the Singh-led government, intensifying talks about an imminent change in power in the Madhesh Province.
