UML to hold public demonstration against inflation today

KATHMANDU, August 1: The main opposition party, CPN-UML, is going to hold a public demonstration today against inflation. UML is going to hold a public demonstration in Kathmandu today saying that the government has not taken any steps to control inflation.

UML said that the public demonstration will start from Basantpur at 2 PM. It is said that the rally will start from Basantpur and office-bearers of the party’s Valley Special Province Committee, Central Departments of the Party, MPs, People's Representatives elected at the local level from the party in the Valley, contact platforms and the general public will participate in the rally.
