PANCHTHAR, Dec 19: The Jhulaghat-Chiwa Bhanjyang Resolution Campaign of the CPN-UML concluded on Sunday, reaching Chiwa Bhanjyang of Panchthar district.
UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli termed the campaign a 'Great Journey' adding that the leaders had an opportunity to understand the people's aspirations.
Sticking with New Year’s resolution
At a program organized in Chiwa Bhanjyang, Oli stated that the UML leaders visited the people's doorsteps, overcoming technical, geographical and political barriers. "The journey was completely successful," Oli claimed.
On the occasion, Oli thanked the party's leaders and cadres for making the campaign a success and announced the end of the journey by hoisting the national flag at Chiwa Bhanjyang, the easternmost point of the Mid-Hill Highway.
During the event, UML's central office-bearers, standing committee members, politburo members, central committee members and other leaders were present.
The UML's resolution campaign was started from Jhulaghat of Baitadi district on November 30.
