ILLAM, April 9: CPN-UML General Secretary Ishwor Pokharel today said dreams of martyrs are yet to be realised.
Speaking at a programme organised in Ilam on the occasion of 38th Memorial Day of martyr Ratna Kumar Bantawa, he also urged party leaders and cadres to remain committed to follow in the footsteps of Bantawa. He also praised Bantawa as a skilled, brave and efficient leader, not only as a general party cadre.
Likewise, UML Parliamentary Party deputy leader Subash Chandra Nembang stressed the need for all to remain committed to the enforcement of the new constitution in order to fulfil dreams of martyrs.
"Dreams of martyrs are yet to be realised. The new constitution has been promulgated. Now the country should pursue economic prosperity by holding all three levels of elections. Only then martyr's dreams can be fulfilled," he said. RSS
