Two motorcycle borne assailants called him out of his house at around 8pm and attacked injuring his head and arms.[break]
He has sustained a deep cut on the thumb of his left hand. He has been admitted to Manmohan Memorial Hospital, Thamel and his condition is said to be out of danger.
Chief of Kathmandu Metropolitan Police Range Superintendent of Police Puskar Karki said a suspect has been arrested with a motorcycle and search for other assailants has been intensified.
Eye witnesses said one assailant fled toward Raniban while another headed toward Gongabu Bus Park.
