UML expels rebel candidate in Dolpa

DOLPA, Oct 29: Dolpa district working committee meeting of the CPN-UML  has expelled leader Angad Kumar Badhu even from ordinary membership, stating that he was contesting as a rebel candidate to defeat UML election candidate Dhan Bahadur Budha from the party.



Leader Angad Kumar was expelled as he defected the party, said district secretary Chakka Bahadur Dharal.[break]



Meanwhile, two groups of cadres from the CPN-UML and UCPN-Maoist clashed at Lawan VDC in course of election publicity programme, which the UCPN-Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal was going to address.



The cadres of the UCPN-Maoist were beaten up by the UML cadres under the direction of UML candidate Dhan Bahadur Budha, said Ram Bahadur Budha of the UCPN-Maoist.
