KATHMANDU, Nov 13: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said mutual understanding is the basis of strong unity in the party. He also called upon the party members to elect their representatives by using the opportunity to exercise democracy.
In a statement today on the occasion of the General Convention representatives' election, Chairman Oli said that the UML is a democratic party and they understand democracy not only as a system but also as a process and method.

The competition between the parties should be healthy while mutual understanding within the party provides a basis of strong unity, he said.
