UML Central Office shifted to Dhumbarahi

KATHMANDU, Aug 8: CPN-UML's Central Office has been shifted to the building of Pasang Lhamu Mountaineering Academy located at Dhumbarahi from Saturday.

The party took the decision to shift its central office temporarily after the older building housing the office at Madannagar, Balkhu, suffered damages in the earthquake.


UML has agreed to lease the building of the Academy for at least three years. The contract for the lease was signed by UML General Secretary Ishwor Pokharel and Academy's General Secretary Bachunarayan Shrestha.

At a program held in connection with the office relocation, UML Chair KP Sharma Oli said the party decided to shift its office temporarily due to problems created by the damages to the older office building.
