KATHMANDU, May 2: CPN-UML and CPN (Maoist Center) are about to file the candidacies of their representatives for mayoral and deputy mayoral positions in Lalitpur Metropolitan City.

CPN-UML has fielded Hari Krishna Benjankar and Suka Maya Tamang as mayoral and deputy mayoral candidates respectively.
Likewise, CPN (Maoist Center) has fielded Dipesh Maharjan and Manjali Shakya as mayoral and deputy mayoral candidates respectively. Meanwhile, Sajha Party has fielded Ramesh Maharjan for the position of mayor and Shova Shakya for the position of deputy mayor.
