UML candidates elected mayor, deputy mayor in Changu Narayan

BHAKTAPUR, May 30: CPN (UML) candidates have been elected the mayor and deputy mayor in Changu Narayan Municipality.

BHAKTAPUR, May 30: CPN (UML) candidates have been elected the mayor and deputy mayor in Changu Narayan Municipality. 



UML central member, Som Mishra, has been elected the municipality's mayor with 8,512 votes under his belt. His closest contestant from Nepali Congress, Rajaram Khadka, garnered 6,869 votes. 



In the deputy mayor's post, UML's Bina Bastola has been elected with 8,789 votes. Her closest contender Radha (Saru) Baniya mustered 6,476 votes. RSS
