UK minister arrives

KATHMANDU, May 26: UK Minister for International Development Alan Duncan MP has arrived in the capital on a two-day visit to Nepal. This is his first overseas visit after being appointed Minister for International Development following UK elections in May.



The British minister is due to meet Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Sujata Koirala and Chairman of UCPN-Maoist Pushpa Kamal Dahal.



Besides, he will also interact with Constituent Assembly members. Minister Duncan is scheduled to visit several DFID-supported programs in Bhojpur and Biratnagar.
