PM Oli to visit India after Indian Energy Minister's Nepal visit

He further added, “After the Energy Minister from India arrives, there is also the possibility of a visit by the honorable Prime Minister. We expect that the date for the honorable Prime Minister's visit will be finalized afterward.”

KATHMANDU, Feb 14: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's visit to India will take place after the visit of Indian Energy Minister Manohar Lal Khattar to Nepal.


Minister for Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation Deepak Khadka, who returned home after a visit to India on Thursday, said that PM Oli will soon visit India.

He said that the Indian Energy Minister will visit Nepal soon and only then will PM Oli's visit to India be scheduled. Minister Khadka, who returned home after participating in the India Energy Week-2025’, said that  during his visit to India, he met with three ministers – Minister of Power of India, Manohar Lal Khattar, Water Resources Minister CR Patil, and Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri. They held positive discussions about completing major projects.


Khadka said the Indian Energy Minister is scheduled to visit Nepal soon.


He further added, “After the Energy Minister from India arrives, there is also the possibility of a visit by the honorable Prime Minister. We expect that the date for the honorable Prime Minister's visit will be finalized afterward.”
