KATHMANDU, Dec 30: The United Democratic Madhesi Front has reiterated that the constitution amendment bill registered in the parliament could not address their demands if it was not revised.

The meeting of the UDMF held on Thursday and Friday has concluded that if the elections were held without amending the constitution that would not be acceptable to them.

The Tarai Madhes Loktantric Party chair Mahantha Thakur shared that the announcement of the election without constitution amendment will not resolve the problem, however, it would create more tussle.

The Front further has stated that the House obstruction by main opposition CPN-UML was against the parliamentary norms and practice.

The Front has also filed its objections on the report of local bodies restricting commission as well. RSS
