Speaking at an election program organized by the CPN (ML) Surkhet at Birendranagar on Sunday, leader Mainali accused the UCPN (M) Chairman Dahal of giving statements in favour of India.[break]
"There is a danger for Prachanda from India and that is why the party is working as per the interests of India," he claimed, adding that Prachanda may face threat from India at any time.
He further accused the UCPN (M) of understating the contribution of martyrs and forgetting the principles of communism.
"The first CA was also given by New Delhi," he said, adding the same process is likely to repeat this time also.
The incumbent government was formed as per the directions from India and we decided not to participate in the second CA election as it is going to be held following the same directions. He further expressed concerns over terming the ´nationalist forces´ as ´small parties´.
At the program presided over by Party District Committee Secretary Bhakta Bahadur Rokaya, Bheri Zonal Buro In-Charge of the party Kapil Pokhrel also expressed his views.
