KATHMANDU, July 23: Deputy Prime Minister C P Mainali has said that different internal and external forces were hatching conspiracy to topple the incumbent government; however, it was working out to strengthen the national sovereignty.

DPM Mainali, who is also the general secretary of the CPN (ML), addressing the assembly of the Progressive Nepal Free Trade Union Federation here today, said that the previous government partner CPN (Maoist Centre) withdrew its support given to the government due to the external influence. The Federation is close to the CPN (ML).

He said due to this step of Maoist Centre the government was pushed to minority, adding that the national consensus was essential to form a new government.

DPM Mainali further said that the national industries were weakening towards bankruptcy due to the Nepali Congress' policy of privatization.

He added that such policy was creating unemployment in the county. The DPM argued that Nepal should be benefited balancing two neighbors. RSS
