While Dudha was daughter of one Rup Dhan Singh, Laxmi was his daughter-in-law. They were crossing the river to get back home. Dudha, who was married off to Beldadi, had come to her maternal home for a few days.
Meanwhile, Tara Devi Sunar, of Bhimdutta-10, died due to snake bite. She breathed her last while undergoing treatment at Mahakali Zonal Hospital.
