DHANUSHA, May 7: Two minor boys drowned while bathing in a pond at Basahiya of Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City-24 in Dhanusha district on Saturday evening.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bed Prasad Gautam of District Police Office, Dhanusha, nine-year-old twins Mohammad Alkama Ansari and Mohammad Abdul Ansari died through submersion. DSP Gautam said that they boys drowned while taking bath in a pond in front of Gogal Prasad Namuna Secondary School.

The boys were sent to the Provincial Hospital in Janakpurdham immediately after the incident but died while receiving treatment, according to DSP Gautam.
