PALPA, Oct 2: A child has been drowned in a pond at Narayansthan, Tansen.
Nitesh Kumal, 6, a resident of Pokharathok-4, Palpa died on Saturday evening.

Nitesh, who had gone for visiting the pond, was found dead 15 minutes after he went missing, said his father Gopal Bahadur Kumal.
The boy was declared dead after he was taken to United Mission Hospital for treatment.
The postmortem was performed at Palpa District Hospital and final rites were performed in Ramnadhigham, according to his family.
He was studying in class UKG at Biju Boarding School, Tansen.
