KATHMANDU, June 11: Five little girls drowned in a pond in Dhanusha on Friday.
According to the District Police Office of Dhanusha, five girls from Mukhiyapatti Musaharniya-6 died after drowning in a pond this afternoon. “They were in the pond near their homes to take a bath.”

The deceased have been identified as Laxminiya Yadav, 12, Chandrakumari Bhagat, 10, Manju Purbey, 13, Chandani Thakur, 12 and Lalita Shah Teli, 12. (RSS)
