Two roads connecting Hetauda to Kathmandu blocked

BAGMATI, Aug 27: Two roads connecting the provincial capital Hetauda to the federal capital Kathmandu have been completely blocked due to landslides triggered by incessant rain.

BAGMATI, Aug 27: Two roads connecting the provincial capital Hetauda to the federal capital Kathmandu have been completely blocked due to landslides triggered by incessant rain.


The road passing through Sisneri, Kulekhani, Pharping and Kathmandu has been blocked by landslide in Ramchandra Bhanjyang of Indra Sarovar Rural Municipality-3, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Laksmi Bhandari.

Likewise, the Kanti highway has been completely blocked due to the landslides that fell in Bhimphedi rural municipality-8 Mahadeo Tar road section of Makwanpur.


Efforts are underway to clear the roads for traffic by removing the landslides debris, DSP Bhandari said.
